We met for lunch at Union Station, but first Barb, Ken, Shelley and I had to spy on the others, then we hung around the train station to bum a few quarters off of old ladies to pay for our trips home.

World War II Monument

By the time we got to the Lincoln memorial is was dark. While we were there a high school choir from Alabama gathered in front of the Lincoln statue and did an impromptu rendition of the Star Spangled Banner. It was very moving and they got an enthusiastic ovation.
